The building is being locked solely for me. My boss wants me to take time off

I have the bizarre habit of working whenever I like and that has included sunday nights too, for example.

She has been telling me for a while and now she decided to lock it down. She put in a special request to seal the building for memorial day except for maintenance staff

I know what it stands for. I respect it.

But a holiday is very unproductive, considering America was founded on capitalism

You crack me up! You are always so driven! Why can't every employee be like you?

Yeah, America was founded on Capitlism, but does that mean that you want to work everyday, the rest of your life?

I wish our employees worked half as hard as Antlered seems to! Nothing makes me more nuts than seeing them loafing around waiting for the work day to end 10 minutes after they get to work! My father-in-law had a sign in his office that said "The clock will never be stolen because the employees are always watching it!"...

Some people are just very driven and enjoy work...before I was married I worked all the time...I LOVED my job and the people I worked with but now I would rather spend my spare time with my husband and children...different strokes for different folks
