It may be our emotional range isn't on a par with yours. Which has it's advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side we come in handy while your kind are standing on a stool screaming EEEEEEEEK a mouse!
It's a little late for this thread...Valentines Day is tomorrow. You gotta give it at least a month next year. Now it just comes across as naggy and even if you are happy that nagging results in a card and chocolates just know that it really doesn't mean anything and he only did it to shut you up. (not 'you' OP, just generally you...all the women who get V-day gifts as a result of nagging).
No I think it is, no one said anything about doing it all the time!! Like I said don't want you to be a woman..
well, I don't know-- I've done a whole dang lot of expressin' and it doesn't seem to matter. ( but then I'm a little more sensitive than the average guy)
In men's brains, the language center is not as well connected to the emotional centers as in women's. We feel things, but we don't have words connected to the feeling. We have to observe ourselves for a while and figure out which word fits. Sometimes we come up with the wrong word.
Also, many of us have had very bad experiences when we do try to verbalize our feelings, so it seems better not to risk it again.
