Don't you think that calling women b*tches is a bit hostile? Big deal, you had to buy a meal. If you're still stewing over a few bucks from 3 years ago, you really need to get over it.

If you want to meet a nice woman, you have to LIKE women, not see them as the enemy trying to 'cheat you' out of meals, drinks, whatever.

You know what they say, once a fool, twice a damn fool. Next time say NO to a user.

I would say in the future-"I actually have plans" to the "are you hungry question"

I never meet anyone for "coffee". I don't drink coffee, and I don't find coffeeshops socially lubricating. But then again, that's just me.

Sounds like you live pretty high on the hog. I've never paid more than $10 for an entree.

I've got no problems paying for my date's dinner.

Always. I figure if a guy is too jaded or goes on so many dates he has to worry about how he will hedge his costs he's not the right person for me.

You must live in the middle of nowhere. I work at Hooters (an inexpensive chain restaurant) and an entree here will cost you more than that.

I live in a city on the Gulf coast of Florida. I can get a plate of wings at Hooters for less than $10. Drinks are separate. I could pay through the nose for a meal around here if I was going to some expensive, non-chain restaurant, especially out on the island. But I can also find entrees for less than $10. I took someone out for dinner about a year ago, and we had two entrees and two appetizers and spent about $30.
