Eh, it's not that black and white... Sometimes a "10" opens his mouth and becomes a "1" and a "5" opens his mouth and becomes a big "10." As far as 1... no changes would occur no matter what...

For me a woman opening her mouth does not change her scaled rating, it only determines whether she will be someone I date or just a sex partner.
Mine is simplified: maybe something like 1 (no way, Jose), 5 (perhaps; depends), 10 (really want THAT!). I think most people would agree with 1. The rest is veeery discretionary.
I like that: Yes, No, Maybe - works for me
1) The starting Yes could easily fall to a Maybe or based on a worst case scenario freefall to a No. If a Yes falls to a No, he will likely stay a No, because he did something that is likely unforgivabel. If he falls to a Maybe, he has the potential to go either way, based on what he does.
2) The starting Maybe could fluctuate from Yes to No, again based on many factors.
3) The starting No, would have to work really hard to get to a Maybe, but will rarely become a Yes, unless he was originally a Yes (see #1) and he is unredeemable.

That's not how it works for me (and many other women, I think). I do have a case when a much needed at the time good-looking body disgusted me so much I couldn't even touch it, even though I didn't mind it one bit in my original plan.
Hahaha You don't need to worry about. I think it's primarily men that need to talk in scales.
