Because of this new enlightenment, guided by the internet and the information age we live in, less and less people are buying into Christianity. And many Christians are dabbling in other religions, or turning to Atheism, etc.

On the other hand, it seems like people in the Muslem world continue to follow their religion strictly and fanatically. I've never actually traveled to the Middle East, but from what I've read it looks like this is what's happening.

I wonder if the information age and the internet will soon start to put a dent in Islam, like it is with Christianity. Will people stop believing the tall tale of Islam in the near future, as the internet opens the whole world up for them?

It seems like Islam is too deeply meshed with their culture over there. Religious fanatisism is the norm. I really feel sorry for those people.
Like anything FANATICAL...it will eventually die out as people open their eyes to the FANATICISM.

This is the equivalent of choosing Diet Pepsi over Pepsi. Both are terrible choices for your health. The real solution is to quit drinking soda!

Two of the main reasons Islam is growing...One...Muslims have more children than any other religious demographic, and these kids are well indoctrinated into the belief...Two.... In many places leaving Islam incurs a Death penalty, so many that have lost faith in Islam remain in the closet, and pretend they still believe.

I believe that Islam, like all other religions will one day be considered nothing more than myths as many of the ancient gods are today.

LOL I bet the Rabbi's of the Bible back in biblical times said the same thing about Jesus...now that he is crucified the fanatics will finally die out. The fact that they still teach Islam even though they left their own Country makes me wonder why? why keep the religion? why pass it on? why leave your Country and still live the same life, rules?
