Not this again?! I've been laying low but Campbell has managed to get me to post; the irony was too much.

PS - Funny how some believers just love and celebrate science when it produces a finding they think supports the Bible, but wholely reject the tons of findings that show a literal reading of the Bible is completely wrong.

Are you fully blind. The Bible was the first publication that stated that snakes walked upright. The fact that science has not yet come up to speed with the other facts of the Bible has nothing to do with that reality. The fact that science lags behind in discovery is your problem, not mine. And what tons of findings show the literal reading of the Bible is completely wrong? I love statements like this. And that is because the non believers can never make their case.

I hope you take the literalism seriously. Because if you aren't stoning people to death you are violating "His Commandments."

The vestigial hind limbs (spurs) are easily seen in most species, and I expect most people, even the authors of the bible, could surmise their ancestry just by looking.

Of course when I first brought this up some years back. Some how all those who opposed my belief thought such a thing was fully nonsense? Yet the scientist are telling us that the snakes in question were not some early primitive ancestors, but advanced snakes similar to modern boas and pythons. And they have also told us, that these snakes had nothing to do with snake origins. So you can put your evolution away. Your statement. "We have known for quite some time that snakes evolved from a tetrapod ancestor." Has nothing to do with this topic. Once this reality is expressed and proven. Now we hear from you. Oh we knew about this all the time. Do you also have some property in Florida to sell us? LOL

The bible says snakes walked upright? You mean on two legs like humans?

Old Covenant, now is the day of grace. You need to read your Bible.

What the Bible actually states is found in Genesis.

Genesis 3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent. "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all live stock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.

However the serpent actually walked. It would now move on it's belly. Which was obviously a step down from it's previous position.
