I am part of a committee organizing a "secret santa" gift exchange in the workplace; I am representing my area of the office on the committee. I have received opposition to calling it a "secret santa" as some are opposed to Santa Claus.
I have never heard of such, but I am aiming to make them happy. I am not sure what else you would call it, has anyone ever encountered such a thing? Short of calling it a "secret gift exchange," anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

How about this : The nondenominational transparent winter exchange of items or the NTWEI for short.
idea 2. I was very happy when someone at work this season said, "Nobody needs more stuff, let's give to a charity instead of giving gifts to each other" and so our work group did that. It felt great.
Call it, Secret santa... It's been that way for years, why has this world gotten so politically correct.... So annoying.....
