Okay, I know this is probably old news, but I just heard this disturbing report about the practice of "soaking" as applied to Mormons as a form of pre-marital sex. Is there any validity to this at all? Or is this all just BS? I need answers from a Mormon or people who are friends with Mormons, as I do not know any.

Uncensored Writing: Soaking

The mormon soak...
This is the first time I have ever heard of "soaking," and I was not born yesterday. I am a Mormon. I have been a Mormon all my life. I have lived in Salt Lake City all my life and have raised two kids here. There is absolutely no such thing as any form of pre-marital sex that would be acceptable by LDS standards. I can't say there are no Mormon kids anywhere that are engaging in such a thing, but I can say with 100% certainty that no practicing LDS kid alive could justify "soaking" as being okay. My final answer: It's BS, the whole thing BS, and nothing but BS, so help me God.

And I would have to agree.... I looked on line and there is not one site that I would see as having any acceptable information......

Just misinformation for folks to grab onto.....

Whether this is true or false, from a male perspective, getting this far w/o thrusting will take some willpower and even so, doing this unprotected would be stupid. Furthermore, teen males are not known for endurance or being able to control.

I actually expected something else connotated with the word soak as something more akin to meditation.

Of course there is that magic underwear thingy no disrespect intended.

This is not the stupidest thing that I've ever heard of, but it's probably in the top 10.

Sanspeur , you disappoint me ! With a "Nom de Plume" like yours I was expecting you to be so much more.... fearless and in control !!

It does seem an extremely odd idea , especially if it is meant to be some kind of contraceptive way of enjoying a little risk free Nooky. I can't imagine the average teenage boy lying there getting his kicks without a bit more to it.
