Correct, and very important. Even if there had been a pre-Adamic race, they all perished in the flood, and all living humans are descendants of Adam and Eve (and have a God-given soul). That may be the very reason the Bible went to so much trouble tediously tracing the geneology from Adam to Noah.
The whole narrative of the bible indicates tribes and nations NOT traced back to the alleged creation or IF the flood is taken literally, the nations that dealt with the Hebrews throughout the bible up to the final Roman empire.
Where did all these folk come from? Where did the aborigines in AUS come from? Where did the Chinese folk come from? The South American Aztecs?
It is ludicrous to even suggest that all these nations spread out over vast continents and seas had their origins in the ME and where seafaring great oceans was something that transpired at best the last 500-1000 years.

Uhh the question was actually tongue in cheek and rather moot, since there was no Adam and there was no flood.
I think what is even more amazing that these two daughters cycles were synchronized, that only one act of copulation did it. Maybe this was the daughters covering up another "sin"

On the other hand, in the long run this sort of thing probably helped him get over the loss of his wife. (When someone tells you not to look back, for heaven's sake why must you look back? No wonder she got turned into a pillar of salt!)
