25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Matthew 14:22,23
If a similar story from another religion was told to you, you would reject it as a fable. Why do you believe this story?
Why wouldn't I believe it? Having accepted that He was, and is, God incarnate, Creator and controller of all creation, doesn't it logically follow that nothing is beyond Him?

I believe Jesus was the Son of God, not God Himself. As God Proxy, it seems like walking on water would be less shocking than say, raising the dead. Sure... Why not?
Since a priori is latin for "from the former" or "from before," I'm not entirely sure what you're asking.
What I meant was did you first see Jesus as God before you accepted his miracles (such as his walking on the water). Or did you believe that a man named Jesus walked on the water and then concluded that he must be God?
"Because God so loved the World, He gave it His only son", and I believe it also said in the verse, " .... the Son became one with God." Believing in God seems to appear as believing in yourself.
I used to believe that Jesus walked on the water, and did other fantastic things like finding a needed coin in a fish's mouth, but now I find such stories hard to accept. I easily reject similar stories in other religions, so why should I accept them in Christianity?
Sanspeur is not interested. But that may now be some walking and sitting child of God.
