I do not see how it harms me or my loved ones or any other person. I have no objection to another person doing what they believe, as long as they do not force it upon those who believe different.
I may find it to be a bit irrational and nothing I believe in, but I do support the right of those who believe different from what I believe. I just hope the media does not turn it into a spectacle.

God is the only one that knows the true heart, I am sure if Tebow had a private room close by on the field to pray that he would, but that is not convenient so he does it in the open but I know he is one-on-one with the Lord.

I agree. Except, I don't think it is the media that is turning Tebowing into a spectacle. It's Tebow!
When he appeared as a college player on network TV with biblical references on his face (John 3:16, as I recall) told me all I need to know, along with his godbot remarks.
"Tebowing" is a good example of the Hindu and Christian phylosophy of absorbing the deity. When you "Tebow" you become the phenomenon he represents. Tebow has become the deity of the phenomenon. When You absorb the phenomenon of Christ, you die spiritually and are resurrected by him.
