If you just define God as "nature" and be satisfied with that, then life gets a lot less complicated.

It's believing all the supernatural hocus pocus that causes complications in life.

Still beyond the grasp of theists, the absence of imaginary deities in our thought processes is utterly beyond their comprehension. And I sure as hell don't 'worship it.

i cant seem to help but wander why we cant jsut make it work.. we are all in this thing together.. how come its so hard to get along?
we are not here that long.. why do we love to waste time complaining and debating over who is right and wrong who is better and worse

know the truth and it will set you free

does your "truth" set you free.
i guess we have to be honest with ourselves and know if we are free. internally free..

if we are free ,,its only then we hold the truth? are u free?

Check out Ecclesiastes. The answer is YES. We overlook life's true purpose!

Asheville,
This is why I believe it is so important to redefine God... more honestly.
God is not the grandpa in the sky illusion. God is LOVE... God is that which we love, that which attracts us, what we are ultimately concerned about (what we worship or are most concerned about).

You may not light candles and say certain rote prayers, but you do worship - even if it's just the air you breathe and the food you eat. You can't help but be attracted to things in this life... it's part of living.

Why would I waste the effort to redefine that that does not exist. Why would I love something that I know is merely the figment of imagination of others, but certainly not a figment of my imagination.

Well how presumptuous of you to make such assumptions about me or anyone else based on the fantasies that wander through your mind.

I do admire some people, people that have proven their worth through actions or deeds, but I worship nothing, and especially characters from fable and fantasy.

Attraction does exist, or you wouldn't be attracted to keep doing things to keep you alive.

I guess it could be considered presumptuous to assume that you are attracted to living.
You could be a figment of my imagination... or a computer-generated message?
Cue Twilight Zone music.

You have ultimate concerns. We all do.
You just don't call it god or worship.

You didn't magically appear out of thin air. What brought you here? What is the reason for your existence? To deny it, is to deny yourself.
