I think the Dalai Lama was right on with this, to each their own, if it works for them then so be it, it is the right religion for them and it become their "One and True religion".

Ahhh, here comes the Dalai lama with a truly Jewish perspective on religion. We Jews would agree with him 100% on this point. Whatever gets you closer to G-d (for non-Jews) is good enough. And for us Jews, following the 613 works best.
I think the Dalai Lama is much more intelligent than people give him credit for.
He can't be that smart if he believes in superstitions like reincarnation.

But he does not claim that what he believes to be true is automatically true for everyone. That's the genius of his explanation.
From my perspective, belief in a virgin birth and resurrection is every bit as absurd as belief in reincarnation.
