How Christian of them, right? Did they take the money under false pretenses?
BTW, an 'accommodation' was proposed to them... that the money, the $135,000, would go into escrow until any final appeals.
They refused. As Christians, of course. Because, well, they are Christians. Why not be hypocrites. That is what fundie Christians do. Because they are Christian. God fearin' and such.
So instead of simply posting antagonizing stories and reading into their actions, why not get the facts straight?
Funny you mention getting the facts straight.
Quoted from the article in the OP:
"Even before the final order, supporters of the Kleins set up three online accounts to help them with expenses. As of Wednesday, those efforts had raised at least $515,000, according to a calculation by The Oregonian/OregonLive."

So that couple, according to the article, are
"claiming financial hardship despite crowdfunding efforts that have raised more than $500,000 on their behalf."

HALF A MILLION! WOW!
HaHaHaHa!! Oh man, that's off the hook! Guess who most would say ended up "winning" there?!
For 500Gs, you can call me a hypocrite or anything else you'd like!
Have the people that sued them published their handbook "Using A Can Of Starting Fluid As A Fire Extinguisher" yet? LOL!!

The $135K was an insanely overblown fine in the first place and imposed by someone who was extremely biased towards gays. People can commit serious crimes and pay much less in bail money.

How many times do you have to be told? It wasn't a fine (which would be paid to the government). It was damages assessed because the Kleins chose to release the personal information about the ladies through social media. It was civil damages and has nothing to do with criminal bail.
If you have some information about the ALJ (Administrative Law Judge) who heard the case and some bias about gays, please post it.
$500K! That's wealth fundy style: discriminate against the gay community and be rewarded by your peers.
