How do you think it went?

For years Americans have been told that Islam is a religion of violence and conquest..all while the bibilical texts of the same were justified as being deserved because of rebellion against God.

By categorising words into eight emotions – Joy, Anticipation, Anger, Disgust, Sadness, Surprise, Fear/Anxiety and Trust – the analysis found the Bible scored higher for anger and much lower for trust than the Quran.

Investigating whether the Quran really is more violent than its Judeo-Christian counterparts

PART 1

In a related question - was Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy more violent? (and does it follow that whatever analysis 'demonstrates' that one was more violent than the other, that the less violent of the two was therefore 'better'?)

Well when one uses alternative facts and compares evil to evil I suppose...so are we saying both religions are corrupt and evils?

seems to matter to those who want to keep certain religions from traveling based on the fear-mongering that some are more prone to violence..

The point of such analysis should be who is more violent. Who are committing these acts of violence. Who is in control?

Men or women?

Still the outcome in this age the followers of the Quran from nations in the east are more people are tolerant to violence against blasphemers , than Christianity in this age who follow the bible , as Christianity does not adhered to the rules of the old testament of the bible ...... Were as followers of the Quran in America are more peace loving and would ignore the violence rules in the Quran

The Bible indeed describes Anger much more often (including the New Testament which is less violent but still has violence in it), and the Quran beseeches trust more often.

However, the Bible is a lot more contradictory than the Quran (the Quran being intentionally published by the Caliphate to be less contradicting), and the Bible being published by Emperor Constantine's Bishops to try to unite all Christians under a set canon of scriptures (and thus to be able to clearly define "heresy"). This means that when there is a violent or anger-beseeching passage in the Bible, you can find a passage in the New Testament somewhere to latch on to and thus contradict it, that can even happen within an individual book of the New Testament. It is not really like this with the Quran, whose every inspiration of violence must be qualified by a non-Quranic view (one passage cannot really contradict another) in order to it not to be followed. However there are caveats, because the Quran does describe that violence is not always the best course of action to convert the world and bind it under Submission. And the Quran can also be viewed by liberal Muslims as many Christians liberally view the Old Testament, just describing rules/actions that were for that time and place that it is talking about in order for us to learn something from history but not necessarily repeat it exactly.

It matters not which is more violent, what it matter is which is TRUE and wich is not, and QURAN IS FAKE.

From a purely secular stance, the Quran stands up in regards to it's integrity and wherewithal far-far more than "the Bible". I intentionally put that in quotes as there are so many different versions of what is called "the Bible" that it is easy to see...it's not the word of God and is explicitly a culmination of passages that various political leaders approved of in the various versions.

Whereas the Quran is the Quran and has always been the Quran.

Again says who?

The fact that the Quran had had written polyteistic verses ¿didn't disqualify it?

when we read a book we regard its teachings under suspicious unless it has REFERENCES. because it is part of the Secular Thinking that the said of one single man, is just that his own claim.

In Exchange to Quran, The Bible is NOT a SINGLE BOOK, but a compilation of different BOOKS. all those Books have CONSISTENCY with their claims. They were written by many different authors, while the Quran was not.

Wrong, the Quran had polytheistic verses and Muhamad claimed that Satan inspired him those so he removed them.

Hadn't Satan inspired him more satanic verses?

Weird....I challenge you to find ONE verse that tells us we should do violence from the Bible. I guarantee you won't.
