Oh but they do. Or did. The funny thing about gods is that when people stop believing in them, they fade away. But many gods are believed in at present so there are indeed many gods.
There can be many God's. The bible even tells us that.
Genesis 1:26 " Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
No proof the passage refers to the Trinity (especially since the Trinity per se is a man made concept).
