I think you missed the key point. Gods fade away when people stop believing in them.

Because for those of us attached to reality, that is what Councils of men DO, Vizio. They decide what to accept as what God said and you believe them because THEY compiled the Bible you revere.

I believe the council of Godly men who look to God's Word a lot more than a random guy on the internet who believes Jesus been talking to him. Just sayin...

In other words.....if someone agrees with you, they get the big thumbs up. If someone disagrees with you...thumbs down. You don't believe them.

Which would include people who believe in Jesus. But they aren't doing it right in your version of religion. Not only that....you decide who are Godly men and who aren't. Uh, huh. ....... Looks like the women don't even get a say. Not surprising.

I do not understand why you do not talk with Jesus as a pastor. Under the New Covenant, Christ abides with us and His Holy Spirit is within our consciousness as the Comforter sent in His name to guide us to the truth God has "written in our hearts." How is it you do not talk with Jesus???

Could it be because Jesus doesn't hate gays and might tell him to stop persecuting them?

That's why Viz - and all fundamentalists - rarely talk about Jesus. They're fans of his old man.

Even the majority of thinkers in Nicea were not correct.
I personally find that very easy to believe.
It sounded good at the time, tho...and quelled riots.

I've often wondered about that lack of enthusiasm. During the Jesus Revolution in the 60's and 70's MILLIONS of people had a personal experience with Jesus Christ and became Christians. They were anxious to talk about Jesus and to share their experiences. Looks like Viz wouldn't believe them since he's going with his select group of "Godly men".
