But what's your confusion? I see the same thing. God said to take 7 pairs of the clean animals, 2 of the unclean. As the article points out, God simply said to preserve them...there is no mention of ONLY bringing that many and not bringing any for food.
The necessary size of the ark just expanded exponentially...
This question is along the lines of how did the penguins migrate from Antarctica to Palestine before the flood and then back again afterward. If you believe in a literal global flood, you just believe in it and don't try to rationalize it.
I keep imagining all those American earthworm species crossing the continent, swimming the Atlantic, heading cross-country to where the ark was, then swimming back. Or maybe the western American earthworms swam the Pacific, and then crossed Asia to get to the ark...
Well?
Did Noah break the rule of two of everything (yeah, we know about the 7 thing, but it doesn't apply here)?
Or did the anteaters all of a sudden turn vegetarian?
What about the vultures and other carrion eaters? What did they eat? Remember, only two of each kind was to be on board.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proofs, not "this might have happened".
LOL ! I think anteaters will also eat sugar.
For all we know animal kind could have been hibernating while on the Ark.
