And to give some insight as to what those who have taken the mark of the beast do, they follow the one whom marked them.

But wait a minute, to be fair 'God' did not say that.

You are correct. God did not command anyone to do that. It was a Psalm-- a song of happy rejoicing because people were happy about being free from an evil oppressing nation. Is that wrong? I don't know....we have people today that pay a "doctor" to do much worse to babies.

It's somewhat like extortion in the spiritual realm of warfare.
For example.
Beware of the scibes.
They are the ones that sit by and wait for the tempter do his work in deceptively sowing a seed of temptation.
So that when a person is burdened down and decieved by a lie they are given A false certificate of divorce.
For a small sum of monetary value of course. The scribes have to make a living of course.
In reality this very certificate is sold and resold to the highest bidder. And so they have no care or love for their neighbor in this regard.
All the while the person who signed the certificate has no idea what has occured.
The deceptive seed the enemy planted as a tare is a poison that brings forth fruits and seeds after it's own kind.
Like a stronghold built over time the weeds(thorns)choke out the Good seed that was planted First.
