Babylon is as Babylon does.
But we were all informed of the great apostasy, it is no surprise.
The Man of Sin
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and
by our gathering together unto him,
2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for
that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the
mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth
will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Stand Firm
13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given
us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
Sitting in your own temple because you are the temple, and people become the high priest of their temple thinking to change or alter the word of God as they see fit, they think they can do away with the worship system of God because they sit in their temple as a God themselves when they prove that their word is above the word of God.
We are to teach the Gentile that he needs a Passover lamb and we are to remember the great sacrifice of Jesus in his dying for us, AS a Passover lamb, AS a ram of Shavuot, AS a Yom Kippur goat, AS a Sukkot bull.
But now we have Babylonian Christians who refuse to remember the sacrifice of Jesus, and they look upon these sacrifices as if they are some kind of evil memorials EVEN THOUGH we are to remember Messiah's sacrifice, Gentiles turn it into wickedness because they actually believe that their word is above the word of God, and to do so means that you actually think you are a God that is able to change any of the word of God he sees fit.
I sit here and speak for God, it isn't my law, it isn't the feasts and Sabbaths I made for myself, it isn't an invented or ancient pagan worship system, it is what God has ordained, what God has appointed for his son, and those 7 feasts are all made for a bride of Christ, instructions for the brides of Christ about how, when and where they will receive the greatest gifts ever offered to mankind on God's appointed days.
I sit here and defend God from Christians who hate their own appointed days, and I am wrong lol?
It isn't my opinion against your opinion, it is God's ordained recorded ways against your opinion that you think you can not only replace the laws of God, but you think you can even create your own holy days with your own traditions which just happen to teach of Tammuz, the Babylonian Messiah, and his name will never change. His Holy days and his traditions have been kept by Egyptians, Babylonians, by the ten tribes, by Muslims, and Christians. YES, YES, we should all know what Messiah you believe in because of the fact that you keep all his Sabbaths, all his holy days and all his traditions, and we aren't talking about Jesus, we speak of Tammuz, the pagan, lawless Jesus. The false prophet Jesus that most Christians teach. Those who stand against all that is called of God or that is worshipped, we were warned long ago about you.
Isn't that what you do as you sit in your own temple thinking to do away with the commandments of God and his holy sacrifices offered by his son?
How will you even teach of the sacrifice of Jesus?
HOW?
He sure isn't your Passover lamb, and so what Jesus and gospel are you teaching of when it has nothing to do with Jerusalem or the ways of God, you have invented your own ways, and now you stand firm against the ways of God.
