I like to play rain/thunderstorms sounds. In the past I would play Celtic type music. I would see how far I could get in the cd. I never could remember how far it was.
It's an idea I've never tried. If it could be linked to my REM so as to switch off when I conked out, I might try it. If it carried on, it might wake me up, because it wouldn't be mood musac. It'd be Sibelius 6 or VW 3 (1) or Javanese gamelan.

Since sleep is the time to let one's body heal itself, I "turn off" all the negativity of the day by listening to:

Very occasionally I listen to this ^^^ at bedtime, but since I like to use it for morning meditation I don’t want to get in the habit of falling asleep to it. . At night I prefer spoken healing meditations. I’m not healed yet but it can’t hurt, and it’s relaxing.
