Since sleep is the time to let one's body heal itself, I "turn off" all the negativity of the day by listening to:

Tibetan singing bowl music

Crystal singing bowl music

Reiki healing music

Namaste massage music

Yoga meditational music

Angel healing musio

I have tons of such music from artists like CG Deuter, Patrick Bernard, Llewellyn Music, etc.

I also like to fall asleep to Enya, Andreas Vollenweider, Olafur Arnalds, and Andrea Bocelli (My neighbor's cats LOVE Bocelli.)

One family member zonks out to the local radio sports talk every night. He LOVES Big Daddy Graham. Hey whatever works for you, right? LOL!

Do you listen to music at bedtime? Or use a white noise or sound machine to lull you to sleep?

I go to sleep to the sounds of silence. I don't have any electronics in the BR except a clock.

I have my window open at least a crack and a fan running every night, even during winter. The white noise and moving cool air helps me relax.

I like to play rain/thunderstorms sounds. In the past I would play Celtic type music. I would see how far I could get in the cd. I never could remember how far it was.

It's an idea I've never tried. If it could be linked to my REM so as to switch off when I conked out, I might try it. If it carried on, it might wake me up, because it wouldn't be mood musac. It'd be Sibelius 6 or VW 3 (1) or Javanese gamelan.

(1) Called "The Pastoral" it's really his "Great War" symphony.

Very occasionally I listen to this ^^^ at bedtime, but since I like to use it for morning meditation I don’t want to get in the habit of falling asleep to it. . At night I prefer spoken healing meditations. I’m not healed yet but it can’t hurt, and it’s relaxing.

I like some of the ones you mentioned. Lately I've let an audio book play. My favorite is this one though:
