I think thats a very unimaginative and unnecessary way for the son of god to be born. God is supposed to be an omnipotent deity and yet she chooses the method of gestation using a host.

Aren't we all sons of God? Don't we all come from the supreme essence, pure spirit, cosmic consciousness?
He has created thousands of millions of sons and daughters.
A few of them have awakened to their true nature like Christ, Krishna, Buddha, Muhammad, Gandhi, Paramahansa Yogananda, but Also. Mother theresa, The Virgin Mary, Daya Mata, Mother meera, and a long Etc.

Nope, the women cannot be the sons of God.
They have to be His daughters, but we all are God's children.
well if the bible is just a bunch of stories cooked up then it could of course be whatever we wanted it to be. certainly the words of jesus appear to be male best shot by bible scholars who of course can only go by the writing. the gender does not diminish the value of the words spoke by jesus which are as clear and valuable now as then.

In the Bible book of Genesis, it says... "And God created man, male and female created He HIM and He called THEIR name ADAM. Now, since Jesus Christ is called the second Adam... one may ask the reasonable question: Where is the bride of Christ? She is INSIDE of Him waiting for the appropriate moment of introduction. There is quite a lot in this statement if you meditate on it.

Why was Jesus of such interest to the Priests at the Temple in Jerusalem when he was taken there for his bar mitzpa? When he was presented to the Priests they asked him where he was born and when. When he told them, they were astonished. "That is the year and place when Herod slew all of the firstborn! Jesus was the ONLY young man his age who showed up for his confirmation in the Temple. They must have asked..."WHAT is YOUR significance that you alone survived the great slaughter?" Of course, this statement isn't in the Bible, but if you think about it... it certainly SHOULD be there. Jesus was recognized as a SIGN of something... the Priests watched him to examine his life. YOUR life should also present a special sign of significance that provokes others to watch your choices to understand their significance. WHY were YOU born and HOW do you survive the degrading damages of life in the United States of America?
This is surely a MIRACLE.... and demonstrates the reality of the resurrection of Christ Jesus in your confession of faith?

It is a tradition (only a tradition) of the Roman Catholic church that Mary also was the product of emmaculate conception... of course, the problem with this logic is... this could be called the 'emasculate' conception and we would need a separate species in which mothers reproduce without the special effects of male intrusion. The Bible tells of God making man in HIS image... but he included the female element as an unexpressed potential in the first manForm. Out of THIS emerged the expressed female.
God's 'image' contained both man AND woman... and He called this "them". The original human prototype was expressed in multiplicity... a kind of holographic species imprint.

That would be cool but i was thinking more along the lines of jesus coming down from the clouds or appearing terminator style. I mean its not like jesus didn't exist before being born and the bible does not go into chibi or teen jesus which leads me to conclude nothing important happened in those times
Personally, I have always thought that if Jesus were the "perfect child of GOD", he was probably born as a twin and the daughter was protected. I do not think we know the whole story. Of my inner understanding... the story is all mucked up and it might be better off that way. Jesus did a magnificent thing~ he endured horrific human pain while showing that the death of our human body is not the end. Just trust that the truth will be known when it is meant to be known and it will be a lesson of love that YOU will be an impeccable part of.
