From whom and what, exactly (soul, hell, Revelation, Holy Spirit)

I often hear Christians refer to being "saved", or that Jesus is their saviour, having been sent by his father to save them.

My question is exactly from whom and from what are they being saved from. Also what is Jesus doing that his father couldn't manage himself.

Saved from a permanent separation of our species from God. Jesus brought the PERFECT agape love of God (Holy Spirit) to His human consciousness connecting all human consciousness permanently with God's consciousness.

humans have never been separated from God. God dwells within us. that's what the soul or spirit of a human is. the piece of God that dwells within us.

It's the stick of hell-threat that keeps the sheep docile and in their pen.

Heaven is the carrot dangled in front of them to help them bear the threat of the stick and boredom of the pen.

God can't love and only stop covid as fast as man is willing to try and stop it?
