Woke people aren't advocating for anyone's execution or anyone's rights to be taken away (unless you consider straight white Christians being at the top of the social hierarchy a right). Woke people aren't trying to overthrow the government and replace it with theocratic rule like the GOP is.
And a majority of Americans support same-sex marriage, legal marijuana, abortion in at least some circumstances, vaccines, interracial marriage, police reform, etc. The GOP/Christian Right are going to have to bring the hammer down against the majority to enforce their will.
Are the political 'woke' epiphanies/conversions we're all seeing pretty much identical to 'born again' religious spiritual rebirths?
Asking for a friend.
Being born again takes years and years of study, Paul taught Gentiles the law and the.prophets personally and they were not even born again, and PAUL DOUBTED THAT JESUS WOULD EVER BE FORMED IN THEM AT ALL., PAUL WAS ANGRY AND PERPLEXED WITH THEM, AND HE TAUGHT THEM.
Pentecostals look for rebirth, the look for revival, problem is, they arent in the religion of Paul or Jesus, and it was so hard for the first Gentiles IN THE RELIGION OF CHRIST, how then will all these Christians even have a chance?
Paul taught the law and the prophets to converts of Judaism, teaching them the times and seasons
Christian's today, THEY DONT EVEN KNOW THE TIMES AND SEASONS, they dont even know it's a race.
If it was so impossible for those first gentile who were in Judaism studying and LEARNING the law and the prophets, then what CHANCE IN HELL WOULD TODAY'S CHRISTIANS HAVE?
