Came across this poem in his quatrain.

And do you think that unto such as you,
A maggot-minded, starved, fanatic crew,
 God gave the secret, and denied it me?—
Well, well, what matters it! believe that too.

Very interesting.

It could be recited as something an atheist would say..

or

It could be recited as something a progressive religious follower might say..

.. at least it was interesting to me.

i read it as god is open to everyone
so there is no "right" or "true" religion or path to god to the exclusion of others
all of us have a divine connection

Good one, but does anyone contain the Zoroastrian faith as itself anti-exclusionary. The notion of the negativity being without sin nor evil but with the essence of self-control in one's human resolve is a higher contact with God then let us say the Christian fate of requiring negativity for the possibility of simply "God created the World in such a way that...".

God (also in Sikhdom) simply created the world because it is and we need it that way.
