best way to attack the enemy, give them bibles and send them home, they will be immediately killed as collaborators. most dangerous man on the battle field a smiling baptist with a stack of bibles.

The fact of the matter is that whether Rumsfeld sends in Bibles or quotes it or not, the average Mujahid does not give a rat's bum. To them, anyone from the West is "STILL" a crusader.
It's just that some folks in the free world are high in their stoned world of religious harmony and un-strife

did anyone draw that caricature as yet, like, say, in denmark?
I guess we aren't the land of the "free"! This is something else, I am a little shocked. I guess the best way to get someone to kill somebody is to use God. That's weird. It seems like it is a religious war, our God vs. theirs. They have the same flyers you know.

It's always been that way, that's how they see it in the Middle East. Continuation of the Crusades.
Say a christian-hating atheist walks into the ME, to profess love. He's still ending up beheaded on youtube. Once an infidel, always an infidel.
All the talk and rhetoric of the "free" is valid only within the comfortable perimeters of HOME, something which was won and put into place by 1000 years of warfare and religious thinking.

Thanks for the slide show. It just points out what absolute idiots we had running our government the last four years. I have to think Donald Rumsfeld never studied history to see how a religious war affects both sides. If he did study history and still did something this stupid, than he was one of two things a fool, or masochist. Regardless of which we can’t afford to have such people in positions of power during times of strife.

Am I missing something? It was a slide show showing soldiers and bible quotes.
Does it say that the US viewed it as a religious war?

You are missing the last year of news where discussions have been non stop on members of the Muslim faith claiming the war on terror was a religious war, and a few misguides groups thinking this was the time to convert Muslims to christianity. You are also overlooking 2000 years of history and the affects of adding religion into any human conflict.
