Does The Bible Mention Any Specific Torture Techniques In Hell?
Hell is supposedly a place of eternal torment, as everyone should know.
But are any specific types of torment mentioned in the bible?
Who will do all the torturing? Will there be any spectators?

I don't find it in the Bible, but if hell exists I am sure I will be there with some pious Catholic, or Christian trying to preach to me. Now that would be torture!

Not that I know of...just the ubiquitous burning theme. They sure did paint some scary pictures of it back in the day though! Bet it kept people in line...as long any others were watching anyway. Funny, a lot of what people, even today, believe about hell comes from Dante and not the bible.

You won't need someone else preaching to you. You'll feel plenty wretched w/out 'em.

I think it's just supposed to be seriously hot, but it's a dry heat.

It sounds alot like Phoenix but I lived in Phoenix for 6 years before I moved to Tennessee and I liked the heat. Hopefully hell will also have palm trees and swimming pools.

Well, then when the time comes, you can say, "I've been to hell and back."

No.

In fact the Bible does not say that hell has torture at all.

It is my understanding that the 'torment' is separation from God.
