It's amazing how the anti-Catholics have come out in force making comments on the political threads surrounding Ted Kennedy's death. It's so sad to see how little people have changed in two thousand years.

I haven't see any of the comments, but do they not like him because he was Catholic, or because they have ethical problems with some of the actions he may or may not have allegedly committed and the various laws and political actions by which his personal commitment to ethical politics may be questioned as to their measure with regards to commonly held moral guides?

I'm talking about some of the comments about confession and other comments about Catholicism that are in threads about him (separate and apart from comments about Ted Kennedy). It seems like any time there is an excuse (in this case the death of a famous Catholic man) people with an agenda against Catholics come out of the woodwork to spew their hatred and misinformation.

Well, you have to admit the Catholics have been beat up pretty good the past few years, much of it the fault of the Catholic bureaucracy.

Misinformation??? I am no fan of the Catholic Church, and I see them as one of the most evil organizations in the history of man. I also reconize no one has to find misinformation to slander them. They are their own worst enemy providing enough negative press to post several main stream articles a day on sexual abuse alone. My question is how anybody could support them at this point. How many children need to be raped or people killed before their members draw a line?
As for Kennedy, his life was spotted with good and bad like most of us, but it was not close to as bad as the organization who manages his faith.

I know from the Bible that Catholics have been persecuted for over 2,000 years, from the time Jesus first started the Catholic Church. We have endured prejudice and hatred from then on (look what happened to the first Pope, the apostle Paul) - so I guess it should be no surprise that we are still drawing ire from people like you.

From your post I see you buy in on all the myths in your book of fables, and ignore history. (History like the 200,000,000 the RCC was involved in killing over those 2000 years of Christian persecution??????) One day hopefully you will wake up and recognize the bull they have been feeding you and what they have done to humanity over the last 2000 years.

Other than the anti-christians here: ireally don't see any anti-catholic on his death.M ost are really just expressing their views on his personal behaviour really. After watching that last nephew who married and hearing his commnets to the groom caught by familiy friends video camera :I don't have much good to say about him and his transformation. Has nothig to do with is supposed being catholic tho.

You might want to check your thinking again on that statement. There are no Catholics in the Bible.
