The United States military has nothing to do with the greatness of God. The prophecy only shows us that Israel at the time of the invasion will only be saved because of God. And America, for whatever reason will not be there to save her. According to the prophecies, I believe America's leadership will have broken down, and America's leaders will be fighting with each other. These prophecies paint a very grim picture for future America.

I'm not sure what your point is. In the course of time, when America is weaker Israel will be attacked by other nations. It will be at that time when God will defend Israel. America is not one of the nations that will attack Israel. It is because American will be a fallen nation, that Israel will become vulnerable to attack.
And this is a reality check for you. America does not rule the world that is correct. And yet, if America fired off all it's nukes today, there would be no world left to rule tomorrow. America has enought nukes to destroy the world more then once. Yet our great powerful nation is on it's way down, and soon will find itself completely broke.
In the course of time, when America is weaker Israel will be attacked by other nations. It will be at that time when God will defend Israel.

The only interest Israel has in Iran is for that black stuff that comes out the ground that makes your car go vroom vroom and of course the USA naturally has similar interests. This is just an extension of Iraq 2.0.
