I'm a Pentecostal Christian, currently attending an Assemblies of God church. I fit right in with my conservative views, not to mention my love for Him and Jesus.
In the Bill Mahers movie religilous, he says every minority gets their appeasment from the politicians, african americans, asians, evangelicals etc etc but the largest minority thoses who do not identify with a religion (i think it was 18%) remain untapped by any party.
Maher’s movie was right, but I think we saw the first reaching out to the non-religious, and “others” with Obama’s campaign last year. The new poles show a shift away from religion which will make the next election very volatile with the far right coming head to head with people who don’t accept their line of bull.
Non-theist through and through. Why not atheist? Atheists contend that when we die, that's the end of us.
As a non-theist, I don't believe in a supreme myth, but I do believe our energy may continue afterwards. Having seen and communicated with energy from a few who have died, I had to expand my understanding.
Now if only the religious right would leave me alone....
