Finally enlightenment for some misguided Christians. Will Islam follow?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHqwBDVeVTM

It has taken some generations for misguided Christians to come to their moral senses as it pertains to Gays.
For far too long a time, Christians have discriminated and denigrated Gays without just cause or any kind of justifiable reason.
Most if not all sins must have a victim and where homosexuality is concerned, there is no victim or anyone hurt by Gays following their God given natures.

Christians are finally recognizing that if God did not want Gays here, He would not created them.
Let’s hope Islam and other misguided homophobes follows suit.

Have you reformed from your wrong view, or have you yet to become enlightened?

Regards
DL

im just curious to what that geezer at the end of the clip-the one that was against the gay rights-what he thinks a gay man should do-i mean if we are only meant to be hetrosexual then should all the people attracted to the same sex just live lonely lives and be miserable-let them live their lives-and fair play to that other geezer-he's more in line with what christ would be like just like his posters said- would Christ discriminate-and its about time christians started fighting against this regardless of what the bibkle says or as the other lad said how HE INTERPRETED it.

It is good to read here that some Christians are denouncing the disgusting treatment of gay people.

The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, if you're a Christian, you're commanded to turn away from your sin. I fail to see what the issue is.

God did not create the gay lifestyle, just as God did not create murders. In both cases, it is a choice to oppose God.

Romans 1:27

And the men also turned from natural relations with woman and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in thier own bodies and personalities the inevitable conseqences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was (their) fitting retribution.

yep and it was also a fitting retribution of the consequences and penalty's of all those withches that were burned alive years ago too--most gay people reaalize they are gay when they are young children-now what does the bible say about the heart of a child??-we are suppose to be moving away from the dark ages not toward it!!

The issue is exactly as the video outlined: that Jesus didn't discriminate. Whether or not he agreed with homosexuality is a topic of debate, but the one thing I learned in 14 years of exposure to Christianity is that all are welcome in the house of God, and all are blessed in the eyes of the Lord.

Besides which, I can present pretty clear and compelling evidence that homosexuality is an intended part of creation (and, in fact, I've done so in another thread).

The double-standard that is continually set by mainstream religion in general confuses me: if God's love is unconditional, then why does he supposedly 'hate' homosexuality?

The burning of witches was something that occured in the Old Testament. The condemnation of the Gay Lifestyle continues in the New Testament. It has nothing to do with the dark ages. And everything to do with obedience to God. It is while they are children, that evil often begins to work in their minds. And that evil incourages them to oppose the Biblical view. The devil is a deceiver, and he works through the mind. God did not allow Romans 1:24 to be placed in the New Testament, because He had nothing else to do that day. Clearly, Scriptures condems such a lifestyle, and those who ignore Scripture only deceive themselves.

I hear ya.
I just posted this to another who said that stupid mantra---the Bible says it is a sin.

The Bible also says that it is ok for God to use genocide against men, women children and babies who are supposed to be evil.
Evil babies?
Do you trust the Bile to know what is sin and what is not if it says that the wholesale murder of innocent children and babies is ok?
