If we look at it as a metaphor for the taking of contributions from the faithful and the exuding of exhortations from the pulpit, I suppose one could say Yes...
Oh I said years ago that the first time a church is caught using a widow's donations to flower up a church festival or pay for landscaping the whole thing should be shut down. Oral Roberts, Jerry Falwell, Billy Graham and Jimmy Swaggerty et.al. have/had to live in gated communities with $150,000 security systems around their homes while those who support it barely get by. The least which needs to be undone is the tax free status.
Anyone who has ever doubted that evolution is real should take a picture of a mature chimp, travel to the nearest Walmart Superstore on a Saturday morning and sit there making a genuine comparison between the picture and typical shoppers. All doubts will be removed.

About what you said concerning the food and the waste product: it is the criteria of all living organisms created by God Almighty Who created everything in the universe even though the disbeliever denies it.
The creatures do eat the food and excrete the excreta; but God does not eat and none feeds Him.
As in the Quran 6: 14
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلاَ يُطْعَمُ
The explanation:
(Say [O Mohammed, to the unbelievers]: "Shall I take to myself as protector, [anyone] other than God, the Splitter of the heavens and the earth [after being one piece], Who feeds [all these creatures] and is never fed [because He does not need food?]")
But it is one of the arguments against the Messiah being any god or son of God; that is because any organism eating food, he must evacuate excreta; therefore neither Jesus nor his mother are any gods, but they are human beings.

This is done by a Wise Creator, not by gradual evolution as do they claim.
