do you stop watering the lawn completely in the winter?
or do you manually water it sometimes in the winter? frequency?

when do you turn on the sprinkers in the spring time?

We never watered the lawn in the winter but we did water our birch tree periodically by hand throughout the winter. We didn't turn sprinklers back on until the nights of hard freezes were over. If we had a brief warm spell we would water with hose and sprinkler in the early spring.

we shut down our sprinklers for the winter. I don't think you can water your lawn in the winter unless you hand water and even then your hose would probably freeze

Lawns and many trees should go dormant, watering I think would be a complete waste.
