I understand there is going to be neighbor noise even with a single family home but it is still will be better then this. Also this experience has been extreme. I have lived in apartments and condo prior and have not had these neighbor issues. I understand people can go and come as they please at any hour but you should not be loud and slamming doors in the middle of the night. This is not just once but multiple times in and out. That and the combo of horrible sound proofing is not a good mix.
From my experience here and others on the board with neighbor complaints most managers don't seem to do anything. They may give them warnings but rarely are they evicted for noise. I made a post here about another neighbor me and a good neighbor were complaining about because they kept putting there trash out in front of the door days before pick up. Animals were going through it and trash was everywhere. One night I came home and was greeted by a skunk. Anyhow my good neighbor and I were complaining twice weekly for a couple months to management but nothing changed. They are supposed to give a fine if you don't follow the trash rules but did not. Finally my nice neighbor got so mad he confronted them himself. Finally they stopped putting it out.
I don't understand why LL would rather keep tenants who don't follow rules then ones that do but by not enforcing rules they lose the good tenants.
Thanks and I will come back with hopefully a good update on a nice quiet rental home.
