Why the co-signer?

Try college areas or private landlords.

How are you going to support yourself? You can't live without any money. All you have to do is to show the landlord where you are getting the money to pay rent and live on.

A cosigner from out of state isn't acceptible. If you stop paying and your cosigner refuses to pay and is located in a different state, it is more difficult to take your cosigner to court to force him to pay. Landlords want rent money that is accessible to pay the rent.

It’s a catch 22 if you need a job in that state for an apartment to rent to you but companies won’t interview you for a job opportunity unless you are already relocated.

This is one apartment. There maybe others without the same requirement.
