He's going to have to get a lawyer and evict them. I'd guess they have rights if they've been there for 2 years. Anything in writing?

Your bf needs to put some spine in the backbone and stop making his home like a free B&B. Besides going the lawyer up route which he may have to do anyway. He may try letting them know the free days are over, they need to start paying rent at an above market level to hopefully influence them to move out. Or the unthinkable giving them a financial incentive meaning pay them cash to move out. Like taking on any cost required to move ie; truck rental and movers if need maybe he helps with 1st month/deposit of the future place.

Good Luck

Your boyfriend created his own problem. They couldn't have "taken advantage of his good nature" if he hadn't ALLOWED it. This has gone on for two years? Puhleeze. I have no sympathy for him. Supporting those people for two years is just plain stupid.

If bf is capable of using a telephone he should call local bar association and get names of a couple lawyers who practice real estate law. Or he can tell them he wants them to leave, give written notice, then start eviction process and stick to it, no discussion. He doesn't have to use a lawyer, county clerk's office can help with basic instructions.

Sounds like YOU'RE the one who wants them out. Bf is a flake who is trying to win a Nice Guy Good Person award.

Maybe you should look for another bf - one who has a backbone.
