Can I tell MP that I wil manager my own maintenance (tenant, house)

I am havinga lot of repair bills.Some of them are really can not be sure.
The last tenant owned months of rent,moved out and left the place a mess.MP had to rent dumpsters.Caused a lot.
I am out of the state.
Now I have a family member to care for the building.This is A duplex house only.
Can I tell the property Manager that we will manage the repairs ?He only does the renting ?

No. You need to get a realtor and sell. You’re quite obviously in WAY over your head.

What does your contract with the property manager say? A typical contract says that the manager arranges all repairs and receives a commission (plus, I suspect that many of them also get kickbacks)

Why do you want this manager to handle the renting when the last tenant he put in there didn't pay rent and left a dumpster worth of garbage? Your manager isn't screening well.

Fire your PM. you don’t need to sell. Just be smart in how you do things.
