I'm renting a room in an apartment on a month-to-month basis, I entered the 13th of February and therefore pay the 13th of every month. My contract ends on the 1st of July, which means I have to pay a full month's rent when I'm really only staying 2 weeks (from 13th of June to 1st of July).
So what can I do in this case, if anything? I haven't paid next month's rent as it's due on the 13th.

You're renting a room in an apartment month to month. I'm going to assume that someone else actually holds the lease and that the person you rent from is actually a tenant who's sub-leasing to you? Do you have a sub-lease agreement?
You took possession of the space on February 13th but, even though your rent is due and payable on the 13th of every month, the contract you entered into and signed ends on July 1 and thus your contract is viable and legally enforceable up to and including June 30th. If I were you I would tread carefully when signing a contract and read very carefully from the get go! Cheers!
