"A force to be reckoned with on the street" Hahaha. Who actually thinks in that manner except for a child.

And now..

"butthurt" Clearly I have been dealing with a teenager or someone just out of their teens and with the intelligence level to match.

Good bye and good riddance. You brought nothing here.

More importantly, they have a higher trap speed, typically about 3-4 mph higher than a GTO, so even if they were about even at the 1/4 mile, the Vette takes over and keeps pulling for the rest of the race.
Sorry stock C5 coupes didn't trap 111-112.

Keep benchracing. I'll keep ACTUALLY racing.

Wow, McKinney is a real winner. What a clueless interwebz reject.

I was killing C5's with their ****ty A4 all day long. The guys who modded their C5s were definitely fast, but it was s driver's race between a stock LS1 C5 and a LS2 GTO. And who the hell cares? The GTO cost half the price of the C5 and had a 5x better interior. Sure it didn't have HUD or fancy buttons. LOL.

In your opinion, which car qualifies as a muscle car under this "definition"?

Isn't it obvious.
Christ say's, it looks like almost everyone responding to this thread cares.
I don't see the need for a flow chart, the one I posted should do just fine.
Please try to keep and thanks for posting.

It's too understated to be a muscle car. The average person won't even notice it and the performance it's capable of.

So you're comparing racing against an auto C5? Sigh. As I said before, the times are similar through the quarter. After that, the C5 takes over and outruns a GTO. Simple as that. The C6 is no contest.

Magazine times mean nothing to me.

See the difference between me and you is I made 500+ passes in my old GTO as well as countless street hits and other races.

You have the internet.
