I like both, but I'm partial to the second generation style probably because a friend had one in high school. An old guy I worked with a few years ago had a really nice boat-tail model which was cool but not as stylish as the second generation, IMHO.
Fourth generation looks to me like a slightly restyled century, a nice enough car but without the appeal of the earlier models. Fifth generation is pretty much the same as every other GM full-size two-door of the era with a slightly different back end, I've never been a fan of this style. Sixth generation (first FWD) I like a lot as I mentioned before. Seventh generation was a farce as a "personal luxury" vehicle, it was really just a fancy Regal. The touchscreen was cool, though. The upsized eighth-generation model is pretty nice, I'm actually thinking of trying to find one of those next time around.
