There is serious talk of General Motors shutting down the Saturn line.

Anyone here concerned about this possibility?

Even if they shut it down they will still have to honor any warantee.

Even if GM goes into bankruptcy, it will be chapter 11, not 7. They will honor their warranties no matter what. The company is not going to simply disappear, it will just re-organize. If they fail to honor their waranties, they will cease to exist. No one would ever buy a car from them again.

There is talk about GM actually closing the Saturn line entirely. Closing production. Eliminating the company.

As current Saturn technician, i'm activley seeking other employment before the ship sinks.

I won't work for Saturn if it's owned by the Chinese.
