In my household I retired first.
A few years later BH retired.

Now he lies in wait for me. What are we doing today?
Please please go back to work
What's your least favorite experience

Loss of anyone actually caring what I do or what I think.

Nothing. Except most of the people I know are still working. Only one friend is retiring in Jan.

I've been retired 4 yrs, 11 months so I should be able to come up with at least one unfavorable experience but I'm drawing a blank...

None except for the natural aging process.

In terms of activities, my wife and I have plenty to do:
Yoga
Archery
Photography
Photography, Art, Writing and other classes. Usually 4 per semester
Writing - poetry, memoirs
Surf fishing
Travel
RV living
Watching the grandkids and taking them on outings
Visiting friends
Activity groups/clubs

There is never enough time for everything so we pick and choose sometimes on a daily basis.

Of course losing my wife was the worst but I came through that in one piece and reinvented my life on a different track. But otherwise, it is mostly a few health issues that hold my attention too much. Generally, life is good. Going on a road trip today for a week and will do some fishing if the weather holds.

Sounds amazing.

My BH has few interests, so he's lost.

Aging is the worst part. Other than that, all is well.
