Overall my personal answer is no, but I did pick up new activities. And you?

It's difficult to construct a poll with an adequate range of responses - I know because I've tried several times and I always came up short. I didn't vote in the poll because my accurate answer would be "somewhat less busy" since I retired, but fairly close to "equally as busy". I think "equally as busy" should have been a response to the poll, as I think people who are in that place will have a hard time deciding between "more" and "less".

And some of us are in the category of who the hell cares!

I am sometimes found sitting in my chair napping. Other times I am driving through traffic. Still others you will find me with a tool in my hand. I don't know and like you said there should have been a selection for equally as busy.

A lot busier. I'm only half joking when I say I should kept working because I made more money and had more free time.

In setting up a poll, I use my personal life experience as a guide. I never heard before anyone saying that he/she was as busy after as before retirement and this website doesn't let me adjust the parameters of the polling. I have noted what you said for the future.

Less busy or the same by design. I've seen too many friends overload themselves by taking on everything that comes their way.

Not me. I pick and chose with care.

I feel like I am doing a lot of things.

My career was very stressful. I was always busy, studying, working, changing time zones, etc. But I rarely got to do anything I wanted to do.

I am accomplishing far more now as a retiree, than compared to when I was working.

Less busy but not nothing. I think when I was working I spent more time commuting.

I have definitely been more busy, although it is with more social things, not work things. I still get up early, but shut down earlier and go to bed earlier.
