While I understand most working age people don't have a ton of flexibility through the week, I'm not the type whose weekend enjoyment is running to the Walmart Supercenter and mowing the lawn. I try to do my errands through the week to have time on the weekends to do what I enjoy.

It sounds like it has more to do with where you live than age. Where I live most women in their 30s are active and involved in life. I can't blame you for not wanting to spend the weekend at Walmart. That sounds like torture. These days I do the majority of my shopping online and when needed go to the store during the week.
