I recall she once said she'd have to "Cut back" on some visits that she used to do, said her son and grandchildren could take the reins. That Was 2 years ago...She's still going tho0ugh.
I think she has a positive outlook, which can go a long way toward health and longevity.
That's what comes from having never worked a day in your life. You think she's ever been faced with the thought of walking 20 miles to a job site because she doesn't have a working car? Nope.
Life has not been all wine and roses for the Queen. She has a son who is a lifelong sad sack, with screwy political views and a messy home life. She has two sometimes troubled daughters, and a daughter-in-law who died very young under suspicious circumstances. The Queen has held up very well.
Who are those "2 troubled daughters"? I thought she had just Anne. The other 3 offspring being male.
It seems a few of the posters are saying she never worked a day in her life, led a soft, cushy life.
Go to Google and look her up. You will see what she has done in her life. Very active during WWII (I believe she actually did some spy work). She's a strong woman who has done a lot of good. At 92 I would hope her life is easier, tho it appears she still maintains a busy schedule.
Sadly, when she passes, her son Charles will take over and I seriously doubt he won't measure up at all.
in my old age im starting to respect her more...
I liked princess diana ...and from a distance....the royals ...treated her like crap ….
even when it was her hubby causing the problems.....
She was a truck driver in the Motor Pool, and was trained as a mechanic.
You might have read a condensed version of her service? I'm pretty sure she did a whole lot more than you want to agree with. Maybe you just don't like her. Your prerogative.
