The day finally came. Wednesday was my last day at work and it was a lot of mixed emotions. Had a very emotional time with my co-worker which surprised me. We started at the organization at the same time and accomplished a lot, but 12 years with them and 40 years total fed time is enough! I guess I’ve been trolling this site for a long time and have gained a lot of experience from some of th post, but nothing can subsidize tit unless u experience it. I tell I I almost hyperventilated the day I was leaving! Lol I don’t plan on moving. I love my neighbors and the community. Maryland is a nice place to live and retire. Don’t let anyone tell u different.I hope to share a lot of my experiences with everyone as I thank everyone who has shared there’s with me! YEAH I’VE DONE IT!

Congrats on your retirement.

Mine came 2.5 months ago and it's still a little surreal.

Congrats! I just turned 62 and I'm still on the fence. I literally was having a debate with myself as I worked yesterday about whether I was going to give my two week notice and be done with it.
