So what did you actually call her? (re: Mother's Day)
First of all Happy Mother’s Day to all!
It is called Mother's Day but my guess is that most didn’t call theirs mother when speaking to them!
So what was it? Care to share?
Was it Mommy, Mom, Ma or some other term? Did you use more than one depending on your mood or hers?
I called mine Ma, how about you?
It makes me happy seeing all the great comments about their mothers. It also makes me sad that mine didn't deserve the title. I probably called her mom growing up but as an adult I refer to her by her 1st name. We don't speak. I was very close to my dad though.

As Jim said up-thread, I sure do miss her too.
Agree about mommy being used by adults, especially if it's not your own mother like one lady on this season of 90 day fiance. Her 30 something year old boyfriend calls his mother mommy, so this 50 something year old woman Lisa also refers to her as mommy. I believe Lisa is actually a few years older then his mother.
She never liked "mommy" so when we were little it was always "mama". Our father was "daddy". When my brothers were older it was "mom" and "dad". I still called him "daddy", he died at 53, I was 26. My mother was either "mama" or "mom" until she died at 90.
