So far, all I feel is a slight ache at the injection spot, as expected.
Oddly, when I got the flu shot I didn’t even feel the needle sting. I asked the nurse if it went in! This happened one other time in my life, when I wondered if the nurse had failed to do a proper vaccination. So I am GLAD that I felt that little bite/sting/pinch with the COVID booster. Will know more about any other reaction in the morning. Didn’t have any strong reactions with the first two shots.
Just got it yesterday. Slightly sore arm, like the first two. The pharmacist thought I should wait two weeks for the flu shot.
Really? Mr. Bay and I got our booster and flu vaccines at the same time at Walgreens. Like many others who've posted in this thread, we had only mild arm soreness. I even donated blood the next day.
This morning, the shoulder is still sore and I slept late. But the latter happens anyway when it is raining or snowing in the early morning, as if my body tries to hibernate.
Nothing unusual about either of these after getting vaccinated. I’ll do all the normal things I would have done today, though nothing strenuous for another day.
I took the first 2 Pfizer doses in August. Wasnt going to, but Im doing a renovation in my house, and with people trooping thru all day for months, I figured Id better. First one was fine, second one knocked me on my @ss. Couldnt get out of bed for a day. After that was fine.
That being said, Im not going to worry about a booster for 5 months or so to watch whats going on with it, and what new medications will show up on the market.
Spoke with a neighbor today who is trying to get an appointment for a booster (he got Pfizer in January).
He called around to a few places and the earliest he could get was 10/14.
Just asking.....what do you expect Gatorade to do?
It's got electrolytes!
I booked a Walmart appointment online; there were openings every day this week, including today. I want to feel good at my meeting tomorrow morning, so I'll get the shot after.
I was really sick after my second shot for 3 days. Waiting until I come back on the 11th to get the third one. I am keeping the week free in case I am sick.
I had my booster last weekend and just had a sore arm. Easy peasy!
