If I go to heaven first (I hope) my wife will receive my SS benefit as a survivor.

My wife receives a small state pension and is currently WEP'd on her SS but will she be WEP'd when she gets my SS as a survivor?

I am 99% sure she will continue to be WEP'd but I just want to make double shirt.

And in the event she goes to heaven first, I will pick up her small state pension as a survivor benefit. Will I be wept on that?

I think she’d be GPO’d - and that’s worse. WEP reduction is limited to 1/3rd of the benefit at FRA but GPO has no limit… Please google GPO.

She will not get a survivor benefit because of GPO and stay with her own SS. I am in the same situation.
