I need a good divorce lawyer to represent me. My wife has hired a female attorney who appears to be quite aggressive. I don't know any lawyers, and would appreciate any comments on good divorce attorneys that wont break the bank. (I am still supporting my household...)

I speak not from personal experience but from personal knowledge.
I got my divorce pro se - and the only one I have personal knowledge of is the attorney who represented my ex-husband. Funny, because my ex always called this guy nasty names. Suddenly, he's represented by the one guy we both considered to be one of the nastiest in the business - sleazy, underhanded, ruthless. Guess I missed that part of my ex's personality. Beware the lawyer first name Stephen in Warwick (there's more than one) who is a solo practitioner. At least one of them is a nice guy and another will slit the throat of your partner.
I'm not in RI but I do know that when you get ready to make a choice, take the time to interview several, at least three, in person before you committ. And good luck... it's the most money you will spend on something you'd rather not have to do!!!
